چکیده
The standard molecular technique to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus is Real-Time Reverse-Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (rRT-PCR). It requires sophisticated equipment and a time-consuming sample process. Cross Priming Amplification (CPA) nucleic acid amplification that amplifies DNA with high specificity efficiency under constant thermal conditions. This faster than rRT-PCR doesn't require biosafety level-2 (BSL-2) facility. study aimed determine validity of CPA as gold evaluate its performance rapid tests for detecting RNA from nasopharyngeal swab specimens. was descriptive diagnostic test by using data retrospectively patient samples who were treated at Palabuhan Ratu Hospital COVID-19 01 January 31 December 2021. performed on total 52 Pelabuhan Laboratory Provincial Health Laboratory. correlation performed. majority subjects female between ages 34-50 years. cut-off Tt-value 3.25, 0.84 Area Under Curve (AUC), p-value <0.001. has good diagnosis 77% sensitivity, 94% specificity, 96% PPV, 71% NPV. sensitivity increasing Ct-value <30 (82%) <25 (87%). had test. could be used viral

Abstract Background and Objectives Clinical features of SARS-COV-2 virus include fever, headache, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath, and in severe forms it leads to disseminated intravascular coagulation, septic shock, and ultimately death. Excessive secretion of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1 leads to cytokine storms in this disease. The emergence of new va...

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a viral pneumonia emerged in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. Its cause is a new virus from the coronavirus family scientifically named Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2). In this review study, articles published in English until March 23, 2020 on new coronavirus infection were reviewed. These articles are obtained by searching in PubMed, ...
متن کاملCHALLENGES OF LABORATORY SAMPLING AND DIAGNOSIS OF SARS-COV-2 VIRUS OF DISEASE (COVID-19)
Background & Aims: Given the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide, it is essential to identify people infected with the virus and determine its different types to control the global outbreak of COVID-19. The results of the studies are controversial, so this study examines these diagnostic challenges, including the types of diagnostic methods, the type and time of sampling, and even the clinical c...
متن کاملWhole-inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccines: from fear to hope
Undoubtedly, vaccination can be one of the promising approaches to control infectious diseases such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Inactivated viral vaccines have a history of "vaccine-induced enhanced disease", which may occur when neutralizing antibodies bind to viral antigens without blocking or clearing the infection. This can cause additional inflammation through the mechanisms described for ot...
